i did some massive painting in our house today -- my poor hands got blisters, but i dont mind that much, because at least i will not see the awful teal green colour of our walls anymore (see below). ladida~

i watched the first ever Negros school cheerleading competition thru the filipino channel earlier, and my heart, actually my chest was bursting with pride.
my former school dominated the 3 most coveted awards, the 2nd place, 1st place and the cheerleading grand champions respectively.
more importantly the grand champions are none other than the USLS Artians. I was, and still is an Artian by the way, i thought i should highlight that haha!
you can just imagine how thrilled i was, when i found out that my classmate Rodney was the one that coached the Artians. Their performance was awesome (think Bring it on!) and im not just saying that coz am an Artian ok? Just superb choreography, really! Kudos to Rodney-- this guy is just overflowing with talent and energy.
When he was asked what sets the Artians apart, he was quick to point these three:
Beauty, Passion and Skill
so true indeed.
and even if i am studying at Curtin Uni now, am still and forever be a lasalista at heart. i am proud to be an Artian, i am proud to be an alumni of the University of St. La Salle :-)

i love taking afternoon walks, especially when its almost dark and the wind is cool and soft.
its one of my favorite "me time", other than when im painting or when im washing the dishes (which doesnt happen often)--
afternoon walks almost always clear my head and gives me that sense of peace and contentment, like nothing bad can ever happen to me. i say when i find someone that makes me feel like am taking afternoon walks, then maybe just maybe...

my dog is not well, i dont have to be a vet to know that, you see my dog is a special dog, i think hes got ADHD so i know straight
away if hes not well coz he's alarmingly polite right now and not his overly
hyper active self.
hes fallen asleep on my lap too, normally he cant even sit still for a few seconds,
so for him to actually sleep on my lap is really wierd, there is something wrong with
him, my poor elmo *hugs elmo"
oh yeah, my prayers to the people living in Albay, Phils. my bestfriend's told me that the beautiful and mighty Mayon Vulcano has finally erupted, scary stuff, that's one fireworks i dont mind missing out --
take care everyone

any volunteers?
its back to school for me, and unfortunately around this time of the year, my calendar go crazy. birthdays here, parties there, birthdays birthdays everywhere.
im torn between geek life and party gal life *lol*
just attended my 2 subjects and the amount of assignments we're gonna be doing this semester is scary enough to put me off for the whole sem *sighs*
tomorrow is friday, thank goodness, and saturday's gonna be busy, in the morning i have to go see my dermatologist, maybe have lunch and shop around for some dancing paraphernalias (will explain later) then go to the filo club with marissa and mavic to belmont to see some filo basketball action, unfortunately am not a fan, never been but i was told that a lot of peeps are selling filipino street foods as well like isaw (chicken intestine) dinugu-an (blood pork stew hahahaha) and many other wierd delicacy's that i so love. kids dont try this at home!
so yes, am going, even if it means am gonna be rushing afterwards to drive from belmont to osborne park (if i can find my way) to find this flamenco dancing school im gonna be enroling.
im joining their intermediate class, so i expect to be dancing like a retard in the next few weeks i suppose, that is if i can last for more than 2 weeks
hopefully i wont have another dancing instructor sending me some sloppy text messages again :P
which reminds me, i have to borrow my dads Tom-Tom GPS direction thingymajigie, im really really slow with direction, so i desperately need this gadget to tell me when to turn left, turn right, turn left again so i find my way hehe
i also need to do my tax returns, one of my accountant friends volunteered to do it for me for free, but im too embarass to let him do my tax coz i know his salary is bigger than mine hahahaha.
and i have to deposit that cheque i got back from medicare, too bad its only 21 dollars :P but then again i can buy bubble tea with that.
oh yeah, i apparently said yes to attending this formal function at a hotel, and then a friends birthday next sat and another friends birthday next next sat and manila restaurants anniversary and some more parties a few weeks ago. what was i thinking?
i dont like NOT keeping my word, but i dont know how id fit all these parties and at the same time work on my assignments and yeah work at the same time too as in you know "WORK" -- i need to clone myself quick or better yet hire a Personal Assistant!
as long as i just pay later hahahaha

my PR teacher in uni made my day today :-)
i initially wanted to book for an appointment with him to discuss my course
outline, but because of our conflicting time schedules he suggested we just
discuss it over the phone.
my dilemma was whether to take 2 core subjects again like last semester.
most of you were aware that i had some problems and some major dramas with
one of my subjects last time, and i dread the thought of having to go through that again this sem especially that im still working full time.
but my teacher said i should take the 2 subjects--
he thinks i wont have any problems passing them and that they're much
easier than i think.
i also mentioned my proposed trip to europe next year.
im planning to stop on the 2nd sem of next year because i'll be away for 2
months.
at first he suggested that i should secure/submit a leave of absence before
i go, but later on the conversation he thought of this really uberly brilliant
idea, he said instead of taking a leave of absence, why dont i just do an
individual research paper while in europe, and he will supervise it.
inside i was like, are you serious? good thing he sounded like he was,
he was apparently impressed with my attitude and with my skills last
semester
and he believes i could pull it off :P
that was surely more than enough to boost my confidence level hahahaha
so before i go to my euro trip next year, i will be meeting up with him.
individual research paper usually requires up to 10-15 thousand words, not
just nonsensical blabbers and semantics that i often write :P
its not gonna be a breeze for sure, but at least my trip would be
multipurpose.
hmmm im all excited already, its all good so far!
